| Project Title / Description |
Veterinary Histopathology study group This collaboration involves an ongoing twice yearly meeting between veterinary pathologists working on the Island of Ireland (including Veterinary College (UCD), VSD (Stormont, Belfast), Department of agriculture (Abbotstown, Co Dublin)). These meetings have taken place since the late 1980's and have a workshop format, where interesting cases, new techniques and emerging diseases are discussed. These workshops provide an opportunity for 'cross fertilisation' of ideas and expertise and additionally have a training and 'quality control' function. Travel and subsistence costs at these meetings are provided by the participants themselves. These workshops are open to anyone with an interest in veterinary pathology and recently a member of staff from the pathology department at the Glasgow Veterinary College was in attendance. |
